12/25/2005: Christmas Feasting or Fasting
Customary Christmas feasts will be leaner than usual this yeaer for Tanzania's Sandawe people. Sporadic rains produced a poor harvest in some areas and people are hungry. Pray for a good rainy season next year. Praise God for a donor who contributed money for food now being distributed by the Africa Inland Church and Wycliffe personnel. Pray that Sandawe people will recognize an even greater hunger--to know God. Sandawe translators are having the book of Jonah checked in their communities, and have translated a first draft of Genesis.
