"Ten years ago we never would have imagined in our wildest dreams that we would be involved in advancing Bible translation in a county like Papua New Guinea. We retired in a lovely home overlooking a golf course. But we felt that wasn't a good use of the time and talent the Lord had given us. While in Papua New Guinea, more than once we have had a PNG national in a remote village take our hands, grip them with both of theirs, look us in the eye, and say, 'Thank you for coming here.' They sometimes wonder why we would do this. But when they have the Scriptures in their language, they know He is their God too, and not just the white man's God. When they thank you like that, it feels like God's river of living water flowing right through you . .
. talk about real meaning in a ministry!

"The process of Bible translation is very complicated, but I am blessed to be able to do my part to support these and so many other missionaries while they work in the field and with the native people."
—Zac Chawinga, Peru
"I volunteer my time, talents, and resources as a way to return to God what He so generously allowed me to have in my lifetime. No one of us could possibly know all that He is capable of doing through us, but when we volunteer and share our lives together, we have a chance to add to our own history of His work in our lives."
—Volunteer, Southeast Asia
