Hospitality Ministry
Open Your Heart and Home to Care for Bible Translators!
Bible translators in remote areas of the world leave behind all the comforts of home. And when translators are home on leave, most of their leave time is often spent visiting churches and other supporters.
As part of the Wycliffe Associates Hospitality Ministry, you can provide a “home away from home” for men and women involved in Bible translation. Use your gift of hospitality to benefit others—and yourself as well.
- Provide comfort, encouragement, and a source of rest to missionaries, translators, and others who serve in Bible translation work
- Stay at home and offer a great service to others
- As you provide shelter and food, you financially support Bible translation by helping keep travel expenses to a minimum for those you serve
- Hear exciting, inspiring, firsthand stories of life on the mission field and gain unique insights into Bible translation work, life in other cultures, and the faithfulness of God to His people
- Listen for God’s voice leading you to serve in some capacity as you open up your home to members of the Bible translation team (God may use your visitors to introduce you to a next step in your life)
