Auto Donations
If you are about to sell or trade in your car, please consider another option:
an auto donation. Donating your vehicle to Wycliffe Associates helps support the work of Bible translation.
Q. Why donate a vehicle to Wycliffe Associates?
A. Your used vehicle (in any condition)
can help us expand and support worldwide Bible translation. Funds obtained from
the sale of donated vehicles, help supply language centers, homes, schools, tools,
equipment, supplies and human resources for missionaries and translators.
Plus, it's often a tax-deductible gift!*
Q. How much of a tax-deduction will I get for my car?
A. While we can give you an idea of what it may be worth, that is one question that is best answered by your tax professional.*
Q. What if my car is not running?
A. If the vehicle has sale value above the cost
of our towing it, we can even take vehicles that do not run. When you call in, a trained representative will ask you a few questions about its condition.
You can help us by giving us what might actually be a problem.
Q. What if my vehicle is not whole?
A. If your vehicle is missing certain parts, let us know what parts they are when you call in so we can evaluate if we can make your donation work.
Q. What if the vehicle does not have a clear title?
A. We cannot process your donation without a clear title. It is important that you work out the requirements to obtain a clear title. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have about this.
Q. Do I have to deliver my car to Wycliffe Associates?
A. We have free pickup and free towing nationwide (except Hawaii), fully licensed and insured. Call and let us know where the vehicle is, and we will confirm our ability to make this pick up of your donation.
Q. Does Wycliffe Associates only take donations of cars?
A. We take donations of cars, trucks, motor homes, boats/yachts, sport utilities, trailers, airplanes . . . you name it! We can turn whatever God leads you to give to us into something that will help with Bible translation for people who do not have God's Word in their own language.
