  • Airstrips are critical to the work of Bible translation in Papua New Guinea, because they make it possible for translators, volunteers, and supplies to be flown in and out of the villages. However, many once-reliable airstrips have been damaged or destroyed and are no longer safe. Click here to find out what’s being done about it.

  • The reality is that the need for qualified translators is overwhelming . . . especially in a place like Papua New Guinea! Please Click here here to see how, with your support, we can establish a Bible translation training center and provide technology resources to equip national translators in the Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea.

  • On a tiny exotic island just off the coast of Papua New Guinea, Bible translators Ed and Debi Condra, along with their Bible translation team, completed the New Testament for the Patpatar people. • Papua New Guinea (PNG) is a land of jungles, high mountains, and many small islands. About 80 percent of Bible translators in PNG must travel to and from their remote village translation locations by airplane. Click here to find out how you can help provide the perfect airplane —the KODIAK—to meet these Bible translators’ travel needs.

  • There are so many Bible translation projects in PNG that it takes a lot of infrastructure and support services to keep them going. About 1,000 adult volunteers, translators, support personnel, and children live in PNG at any given moment. Click here to see how you can help improve their air services—the "safety net" for these families.

  • The new Wycliffe Associates Volunteer Center at Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea (PNG) has been completed and has paved the way for the new PNG National Training Center, which will be the key to 300-plus language groups in PNG having God’s Word in a language they can understand.
