Guinea (PNG) currently has Bible translation in progress in around
250 languages and still has over 300 languages without one verse of
scripture. This amount of Bible translation involves over 400
families. That sounds like a lot of people, and it is, but within
this team there is an urgent need for experienced managers for areas
that are providing vital support to the translation teams.
Management mentor –
Managers serving in the community store, shipping department, auto
shop, print shop, housing department, construction department, and
children’s home are asking for someone to mentor them in order to
improve their management effectiveness.
Aviation business manager
– The aviation operation in PNG provides access to over 300 remote
communities for Bible translation teams. The aviation team needs an
experienced manager to maximize the effectiveness of the pilots,
mechanics, and aircraft serving in this challenging operational
environment.
Airstrip manager –
Managing the maintenance and safety for over 300 airstrips
throughout PNG is vital to keeping these communities accessible for
Bible translation.
Center manager – The
city of Madang, located on the north coast of PNG, is a vital
regional center for Bible translation support. An experienced
manager is needed for office administration, supervision of national
staff, purchasing supplies for translation teams, and operation of a
guest house.
