West Asia: A training institute for local translators started a new course cycle at the end of October 2011. This two-year set of courses focuses on training translators from six language groups in order to speed up the pace of Bible translation. Pray that the students will be enthusiastic learners. Ask God to deepen their love for His Word. Pray for the national and expatriate staff involved in administration, teaching, and mentoring the trainees. Pray that they will be effective communicators as they prepare this group for the challenges of Bible translation in West Asia.
