2/12/2010: Translation Advisory Group
Central Asia: The new coordinator of a project in Central Asia is organizing people from various churches into a Translation Advisory Group. A group like this plays a crucial role as they read each drafted portion and discuss special terms, cultural questions, and issues of acceptability. The group had its first orientation session in December 2009; training will continue in 2010. Pray for this advisory group to be an effective means of energizing and involving the church in the project so that believers of many congregations will begin using the Word, even as it is being translated.
