Southeast Asia: The Padi Storytelling project* affects nearly 8 million people. As many are non-literate, storytelling permits information to be easily shared. The project goal includes 50 oral Bible stories, audio recordings of stories, and storying fellowship groups in the language region. Pray as this project begins that the Lord will encourage and protect those who participate, providing safety in this region of the world. Ask God for divine wisdom as the storytelling training develops in fellowship groups. Pray for good recordings of the stories that will touch the minds and hearts of those who hear, revealing God's love, truth and the power of His Word. * Storying projects focus on the translation of carefully crafted stories that can be quickly shared with many as an intermediate step towards printed translation or as an early evangelistic tool.
