
Dallas, Texas, USA: In February, 88 people from 12 different organizations (SIL, Wycliffe, and partner organizations), working in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Pacific met together to discuss the latest trends and innovations in language development and Bible translation. It was called the 2012 International and Area Language Programs Consultation. Comments from participants included, "Very fruitful discussion and growing opportunities"; "It was my first time to attend such meetings and I found the whole experience energizing"; and, "There has been much discussed that is relevant to my language program role and I am enthusiastic to bring it back to our context."
